Specification

What we pack, and to what standard.

Specification is a promise about arrival condition, not about the day the fruit was picked.

Traceability

PUC and PHC on every carton

Each carton carries the production unit code of the orchard and the packhouse code of the facility that packed it, alongside variety, class, count, net mass and pack date. The same codes appear on the phytosanitary certificate.

Any pallet at the port of discharge can therefore be traced back to the block it was picked from — which matters on a protocol as new as this one.

If a consignment is queried, the question is answered from the carton and the certificate, in an afternoon — not reconstructed from memory a week later.

What we will not do

We do not place fruit that failed to sell somewhere else. A programme agreed for India is shipped to India, on the dates agreed, at the volumes agreed. The 2025 season is the argument for that discipline: redirected European fruit arriving two months late is what collapsed the market for everyone on it.

We do not quote a specification we cannot hold through a cold treatment voyage. If a variety will not travel to a given port in condition, the answer is a different variety or a different port.
